Rodin Motorsport is pleased to confirm that Ella Lloyd joins their Formula Winter Series team for the final two rounds of the 2024 season –starting with Motorland next weekend.
Welsh racer Lloyd will be making her single seater debut following a strong career racing in Ginetta machinery. In 2022 she made her junior debut and followed this with a stellar showing in 2023 where she finished second overall in the Ginetta GT5 Pro class – taking a brilliant ten victories along the way; narrowly missing out on championship honours.
19-year-old Lloyd’s impressive pace places her perfectly to begin her single seat career as she joins Rodin Motorsport for the final two rounds of the Formula Winter Series where she will be tackling Spanish tracks Motorland and Barcelona.
Lloyd said of the upcoming two rounds, “I’m excited to be joining Rodin Motorsport for my single seater debut and put all my hard workover the winter months and the team’s experience to achieve the best results possible, see you all on track soon!”
Team Manager Paul Wallace said, “I’m so pleased that we are able to work with Ella and give her her first taste of single seaters. She’s already had an impressive career trajectory so it will be exciting to watch her get behind the wheel of an F4 car. She’s tested with the team already and has been putting in the hours back at the workshop on the simulator so I have no doubt whatsoever that she’ll be one to watch.”
