Rodin Carlin confirms Voisin in GB3

Callum Voisin will line up for Rodin Carlin as he takes on a GB3 Championship assault for the 2023 season.

Voisin had a fantastic debut single seater season in the British championship with the team in 2022 and now looks to capitalise on his experience to challenge for the championship title. Voisin will line-up alongside already confirmed team-mate John Bennett as the championship travels to Zandvoort for the very first time alongside two furtherF1 grade circuits Spa-Francorchamps and Silverstone.

2022 saw Voisin join Carlin and the GB3 Championship following an incredible season in Ginetta Junior racing. His first single seater season didn’t disappoint either and saw him take three race victories and six podiums, alongside five pole positions, winning the Jack Cavill Pole Position Cup for the driver with the most pole positions in the process. The Swiss-born racer was one of the most exciting racers to watch on track with his overtaking moves and fights through the field, particularly in the reverse grid races, proving his remarkable race pace.

For 2023, Voisin enters the season as a title challenger with experience under his belt and an already established relationship with the team and his engineer. Voisin will be testing with the team next month ahead of the start of the season in April.

Voisin said of staying with the newly rebranded Rodin Carlin team,

“I am extremely excited to be staying with the Rodin Carlin family for another year. Last season proved a huge learning experience in my first season of single seaters and I am looking forward to building that this season.  A huge thank you to Trevor Carlin, EDGE management and everyone else who has made this possible.”

Team Principal Trevor Carlin added,

“We’re absolutely delighted to welcome Callum back to the team for a title assault in 2023. He did extremely well as a rookie in his first year of single seaters and we expect him to come back faster and stronger this season.”
