Rodin Motorsport is delighted to confirm that Jack Sherwood will join the team for the upcoming season of the ROKiT British F4 Championship.
Sherwood joins the UK based team for the coming season, having achieved three podiums in 2023.His 2023 season also saw him get outings in the GB3 Championship at Zandvoort, a new circuit to the British F4 Calendar.
The East Midlands racer began his car racing career in Ginetta Juniors before making the switch to single seaters in 2022. During his first season in single seaters he came fifth in the GB4
Championship, earning two victories and seven podiums across the season. Sherwood stepped into British F4 for the final four rounds of that season before competing in the full campaign in 2023.
Sherwood joins fellow Brits James Higgins and Abbi Pulling, alongside Australian driver Alex Ninovic as part of the team's line up for 2024. Rodin Motorsport is going into the season confident, looking to retain both their Drivers and Teams titles from the 2023 season.
Speaking about joining the Rodin Motorsport, Sherwood said, “ I am really grateful for the opportunity to join such a successful team such as Rodin Motorsport. I have settled in well and I am looking forward to starting the season at Donington.”
British F4Team Manager Gary Bonnor said, “We are looking forward to working with Jack in 2024 and seeing what he can do with us. His previous experience in the series will only help him hit the ground running with us as we look to develop him further this year. We can’t wait to start working with him and see what we can achieve this season”
The ROKiT British F4 Championship tours some of the UK’s most well-known racing circuits such as Silverstone and Brands Hatch, providing a firm foundation for racers in their pursuit of the top tiers of motorsport. This year, the championship will compete across ten rounds including an overseas weekend at the Dutch Zandvoort Circuit.
